Building a Digital Donation Campaign on a Timeline

“Isovera was very responsive to our urgent need during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Since the first call with Isovera to discuss the project, they immediately shifted priorities and resources to ensure they could leverage our existing platform to deliver a quality experience.

Their commitment to an aggressive timeline was impressive- working through the night and on the weekends, and being available at all hours of the day to ensure the project was delivered in a timely way.”

– Rico Ciricola, Digital Strategy Engagement Lead

In recent weeks, many organizations have been learning how to leverage their digital presences as their physical locations are being shut down. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston (RCAB) is one of these organizations.

Serving 1.8 million in Massachusetts, RCAB is primarily funded through the generous donations of its parishioners–many of whom donate during weekly offertory. These donations extend far past the church’s staff or operations, and include aid to charities, education, and even local food banks.

With services halted and church buildings closed to the public, RCAB needed a way to accept donations and found itself going digital. Working closely with the RCAB team, Isovera released a user-friendly digital donation campaign in a matter of a few days, start to finish.

Seamlessly integrated with e-commerce platform Stripe, RCAB’s webform and donation campaign features a landing page allowing for easy, quick donation pledges, and has empowered parishioners to continue to play an active and integral role in their community through giving.

The campaign also acts as a platform for parishes to reaffirm that their parishioners are staying engaged with their community as well as to record their charitable donations.

As a result of their donation campaign launch, RCAB is able to continue to serve the 286 parishes, across 144 communities, educating approximately 156,000 in religious education classes each year, and ministering to the needs of 200,000 individuals through its pastoral and social service outreach.
